From the depth of a stretch of water a mermaid figure sinuously emerges her gaze turns backwards in contemplation of a landscape with evening tones. The light is clearly reflected on the waves that mark the movement while in the background a neoclassical balustrade limits the vision of the infinite space on the horizon.
